"I-LAND was really just the first step toward the dream," member SUNOO told Complex when reflecting on the band's growth and journey. ENHYPEN officially released their six-song EP titled THE SIN : BLISS on August 21, marking the group's eighth mini album and the second installment in the ongoing THE SIN series continuing their fictional vampire storyline. The project marks a distinct musical shift as the six-member lineup embraces Brazilian baile funk rhythms on their new title track "Bloody Paradise," alongside romantic numbers like "Bad for You."
Produced by JULiA LEWiS, who previously worked on Bad Bunny's Grammy-winning track "DtMF," "Bloody Paradise" features raw kick-drum textures and a music video partially filmed in Peru. The album also features narration in four languages: Korean voiced by actor Park Jeong Min, Japanese voiced by actor Kenjiro Tsuda, Chinese voiced by singer Lars Huang, and English. According to Complex, the group's webtoon counterpart has already accumulated more than 200 million reads worldwide. Their overarching BLOOD SAGA narrative serves as a direct sequel to THE SIN : VANISH, tracking outlaw vampires on the run as two lovers break vampire society's ultimate taboo.
At a pre-release press conference, JAY noted, "We confidently call this album the best of ENHYPEN's career," adding that it would prove worthy of fans' wait. JUNGWON shared, "This is the record we prepared with the fewest regrets. Because we are so satisfied with the outcome, we’re stepping into this release fully confident that it will be our brightest era yet."
Formed on the 2020 survival series I-LAND, ENHYPEN debuted on November 30, 2020, under BELIFT LAB, which became wholly owned by HYBE in 2023. Following former member Heeseung's departure to launch his solo career as EVAN, the current six-piece of JUNGWON, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI has delivered THE SIN : BLISS as their first release since his departure. Prior to this release, the group landed nine titles on the Billboard 200, including six top 10 appearances: MANIFESTO : DAY 1 (No. 6 in 2022), DARK BLOOD (No. 4, 2023), ORANGE BLOOD (No. 4, 2023), ROMANCE : UNTOLD (No. 2, 2024), DESIRE : UNLEASH (No. 3, 2025), and THE SIN : VANISH (No. 2, 2026).
The group recently completed the Latin American and U.S. legs of their BLOOD SAGA world tour, drawing more than 193,000 fans across the trek. Their itinerary included performing on Brazilian late-night show The Noite com Danilo Gentili, attending a 2026 FIFA World Cup celebration in Mexico City at Campo Marte, introducing the "DARK MOON" narrative at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, and participating in a World Health Organization (WHO) campaign for World Blood Donor Day on June 14. Up next, the band heads to the United Kingdom and Europe from February through March 2027, with scheduled stops in Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and London.
