Community Guidelines
Last updated: July 23, 2026
K-POP WAVE comments are a space for fans to talk about the music and the news. These guidelines apply to everything you post. Commenting requires a signed-in account, and you must be at least 14 years old to have one (see our Terms of Service).
The Rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, slurs, or personal attacks — toward artists, other commenters, or anyone else. Obvious profanity is blocked automatically.
- No rumors. Don't post unverified claims or speculation about artists' private lives (dating, health, personal matters). This mirrors our own editorial rule — what we won't publish, we also don't host.
- No personal information. Never share anyone's private information — addresses, contacts, schedules, or anything that enables tracking or harassment.
- No spam. No repetitive posting, advertising, or self-promotion. Posting is rate-limited per account and per network.
- Stay legal. Nothing that infringes copyright, impersonates others, or breaks the law.
How Moderation Works
- An automated filter blocks comments containing obvious profanity and slurs before they are posted.
- Any signed-in reader can report a comment (spam, abuse, rumor, or other). A comment that receives 3 reports is automatically hidden pending review.
- Rate limits apply to both commenting and reporting to prevent abuse of either.
- Comments that break these rules are removed. Accounts that repeatedly break them are terminated, as described in our Terms of Service.
Reporting & Appeals
Use the Report button on any comment (sign-in required). If your comment was removed or hidden and you believe that was a mistake, email [email protected] and we'll take a second look.
