BTS Jimin Hits One Billion Spotify Streams With Like Crazy

BTS member Jimin reached one billion filtered streams on Spotify with his solo track Like Crazy. Both reports confirm the track is the first Korean-language song to pass the one-billion mark on the platform. The song was released in March 2023 as the lead single of his debut solo album Face, and it previously debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Malay Mail reported that Big Hit Music announced the achievement on a Thursday, citing The Korea Herald. The outlet added that the synth-pop single remained on the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks, while Face spent seven weeks on the Billboard 200 and peaked at No. 2. Like Crazy also recorded 60 weeks on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts, peaking at No. 2 on each. In Britain, the track debuted at No. 8 on the Official Singles Top 100, alongside reaching No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart across 119 regions.

Korean outlet Star News added that Like Crazy held the record for the most filtered streams among Korean-language songs as of the 14th. Star News also reported that Who, the title track from Jimin’s second solo album MUSE, exceeded 2.5 billion filtered streams on Spotify. With these totals, Jimin became the first and only Korean singer in Spotify history to achieve over one billion filtered streams on multiple songs, reaching the milestones as solo tracks without featured Western artists.
